Patient Testimonials

"I've had experience with many, many dental offices over my lifetime and I can say unequivocally that Dr. Teel and each person I met and/or observed at Meridian are the most efficient, competent, professional, and delightful team of people I have ever encountered in a dental practice.  Someone really knows how to hire talent! Kudos!"

Brad F.

"Best dental experience I have ever had!  I was treated the same day I called and am very happy with the follow-up care."

-AnnMarie B.

"Due to the poor health and appearance of my smile, I had very low self esteem when I first saw Dr. Teel.  I couldn't me more grateful, as she has changed my life! A new smile, and a new lease on life! I am a new person."

Robert S.

"I am very scared of dental procedures and the three that I have had at your office have been fabulous!"

Common Questions

Do I need to visit my regular dentist after the root canal procedure?

Yes, we recommend that you call your dentist's office after completion of the procedure. The temporary restoration will need to be replaced within 2 to 8 weeks by your family dentist.

Will the treatment be painful?

We will take every measure to ensure that your procedure is in no way uncomfortable or painful. If treatment is needed, we will inject a small amount of anesthesia to gently numb a concentrated area of your mouth. For most patients, the feeling of numbness usually subsides after 2-3 hours.

Do you accept walk-ins (without a referral)?

We have offices in Brookfield and Shorewood to serve patients on the West and East side of the Greater Milwaukee area.  Patients are welcome from any office, and we recommend you have a written referral from your family/restorative dentist.

In an emergency, if a patient's family dentist cannot be reached, we will do all we can to alleviate pain and then follow up with communication back to your family dentist.  If you are without a family dentist, we recommend you find one and have a full exam prior to scheduling any non-emergency treatment.

Can I drive home if I have nitrous (laughing gas)?

Yes!  Nitrous Oxide gas is a mild form of sedation that is completely out of your body after the procedure is finished.  You can drive to and from the procedure and have the relaxing effects of the gas during your visit.

If you would prefer a moderate (oral medication) or deep (I.V. sedation) level of relaxation, you will need a driver to and from the appointment.

If I can't take any time off work for treatment, do you offer after-hours or weekend appointments?

Yes, for those finding it difficult to appoint during the day, we offer early morning, late evening, and Saturday appointments by request.
