Same Day Smiles

Your dental implants will take time to ensure long-term success and the best results. With the care and coordination of our team of experts, you will leave our office with fixed (non-removable) temporary implants during the same visit in just one day.

Digital Smile Design Technology

Digital Smile Design, or DSD®, is a revolutionary planning tool that our team uses to map your dental and facial proportions. Using this tool, our team will work with you to plan a treatment to create the smile of your dreams. DSD provides our team with movies, images, and temporary mock-ups that create a greater understanding of the interaction between your lips, gums, and teeth and how they work together to generate your smile.

AI-POWERED POSITIONING AND FACE SCAN

Our 3-D CBCT scanner is powered by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Live Positioning Assistant. This technology ensures the highest quality imaging with greater accuracy and consistency. Our Face Scan technology allows our team to superimpose a 3-D image of your face over the CBCT image and models.

DIGITAL 2D AND 3D IMAGING

An accurate diagnosis and plan for your treatment requires 2D, two-dimensional dental radiography (X-rays) and is often supplemented by a 3D, three-dimensional dental CT scan (or CBCT).We use digital imaging for maximum diagnostic value with your comfort and the lowest radiation possible in mind. This technology provides superior images, with over 90% less radiation than the already low radiation emitted from standard dental X-rays. A CBCT provides our team with more robust information. The CBCT allows us to thoroughly examine in and around your teeth to develop a complete understanding of endodontic, periodontal and implant needs before we ask you to open your mouth!

Single Dental Implants

Dental implants are the best long-term solution for missing, broken or hopeless teeth. When a damaged tooth is removed, dental implants will help maintain the jawbone where the tooth was removed. The dental implant process begins with inserting a permanent titanium fixture in the jawbone using the space created by the missing tooth. A new custom-made crown or tooth is then attached to the titanium fixture, providing you with your new permanent tooth. Your new tooth will look and feel natural. Your new tooth won’t affect your speech, and you can again eat the foods you enjoy.

Multiple Dental Implants

Multiple dental implants are the best solution to replace your multiple broken, missing or failing teeth. Dental implants are a long-term solution and provide a natural-looking and feeling, low maintenance tooth replacement option that will keep you smiling for years. When your broken or damaged teeth are removed, our team will prepare your jawbone for the new implants. Dental implants will help maintain your jawbone where teeth were removed. Each person has a unique set of conditions, and your doctor will discuss and provide the best options for your dental implants. The process of getting your dental implants begins with inserting permanent titanium fixtures that are rooted in your jawbone where your damaged teeth were removed. Your temporary set of teeth will be installed until your doctor determines that your mouth is well-healed and ready for your permanent dental implants. Your doctor will then replace your temporary crowns with your custom-made dental implants by attaching them to the titanium fixture. Your new teeth will look and feel natural and won’t affect how your speech. Your new dental implants will allow you to eat all the foods you enjoy.

Fixed Hybrids

A fixed hybrid denture is an implanted denture designed to improve the support and strength of your dentures. Like removable dentures, hybrids sit on top of the teeth and gums, but they are secured with screws to the dental implant providing a more secure fit. Fixed hybrid dentures can be removed with the help of an implant dentist.

Overdentures

Overdentures are supported by implants and replace a full set of upper or lower teeth. Overdentures use implants to anchor them, so you don’t need adhesives to keep them in place. Overdentures snap onto the implants, holding them securely in place throughout the day. The implants used with overdentures promote bone growth and prevent bone loss, which is common with traditional dentures. With the security of the implants, you will enjoy a more secure and better bite force than traditional dentures, allowing you to enjoy the foods that present issues with traditional dentures.

Gum Lift, Aesthetic Crown Lengthening

Some people use the term “gummy smile” to describe the look of excess gum tissue that makes your teeth appear smaller. Aesthetic crown lengthening—also called gum lift, gum contouring, and gum reshaping—is the solution our specialists use to improve your smile’s balance and gum proportion. The results from aesthetic crown lengthening can be dramatic.

Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Therapy, or “SFOT”

Surgically facilitated orthodontic therapy is an orthodontic therapy to manage dental crowding, narrow jaws and recession and can improve your airway function.

SFOT is used to prevent tooth removals, to develop healthy bone and soft tissue volume around your teeth, and to correct an improper bite. SFOT can also reduce your long-term risk of gum recession. Evidence-based research has also demonstrated that SFOT can reduce the amount of time you spend in braces or aligners.

Periodontal Plastic Surgery

Gum recession is a condition that can cause your gums to wear away, shrink, pull back and expose the root of your tooth. Your gumline can become uneven, making some teeth look longer than others, giving you an asymmetrical smile. Without the protection of your gums, your teeth can become sensitive to temperature and more prone to accumulate plaque. Receding gums are often a symptom of bone loss. The combination of bone loss and gum recession will increase your chances of developing tooth decay, cavities, gum disease and subsequent tooth loss. Placing new gum tissue in the affected area will improve the health and longevity of your teeth and, in many cases, will give you a more beautiful and balanced smile.

Airway & Whole-Body Health

Airway obstructions, disorders and breathing issues can cause chronic conditions affecting virtually every aspect of your health. Our multidisciplinary team of specialists is trained to identify and treat the various causes of chronic airway obstruction, including:

Deviated Septum
A deviated septum refers to a condition when the thin wall between your nasal passages is displaced to one side, making one part of the nasal cavity larger than the other.

Oral Restriction
Oral restrictions, including tongue ties, lip ties, or buccal ties, are problematic when the tie or tether is too short, tight, or thick, restricting your normal tongue movement.

Abscess
An abscess is typically presented as a tender, swollen mass in your tissue. An abscess is typically caused by an infection or inflammation of the glands.

MARPE Treatment
When increasing the volume of your nasal and oral cavity is needed to improve airflow and to minimize undesirable tooth movement, MARPE works by expanding the maxillary bone. MARPE, Miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expansion, decreases nasal resistance and gives your tongue more room to sit upwards and forwards in your mouth, which makes your airway larger to maximum airflow, reducing symptoms of OSA or Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Wish there were ten stars to give this awesome practice! In April I completed my dental implant journey. From the moment I walked into the reception area and all the way through I was made to feel special. Dr. Lisa Teel and Team kept me informed and comfortable every step of the way. I’ve been very blessed to have my dental work done by Meridian. I love this place!!!

Just had a fairly extensive procedure with Dr. Teel and couldn’t have been more impressed. The experience was positive from start to finish! Debbie, her assistant, is so kind and reassuring. I’m so thankful to have a truly world-class facility like Meridian right in our backyard. I am originally from the area but took an 8 hour flight to come back here to see Dr. Teel and her team – that’s how great they are! From the calming atmosphere in the reception area, to the clean and modern treatment rooms, to the state-of-the-art technology, this place is just fantastic.

Dr. Teel and her team are wonderful! I’ve avoided the dentist for 20 plus years out of fear. Had an emergency, an infected tooth, and they were the only ones who would help me, after calling at least half a dozen other places. I’ve been working with them for roughly 2 years now and recently finished my 2nd dental implant with them. They were very patient and caring when I was feeling like a big old scared baby. I’m getting past my dental phobia thanks to their concern and willingness to make me as comfortable as possible and not making me feel silly for being so scared. The entire staff I’ve worked with there are very friendly and professional!

Just had an amazing experience at this office. Let’s say I have a complicated dental past due to fear and anxiety, and a few really bad dentists along the way. I’ve got broken and infected teeth and was actually quite embarrassed by my situation. I live in AZ, but was in Milwaukee visiting family, and on a whim, decided to take my sister’s advice to go see the doctor here for an exam. They were kind, open, actually listened to me and I didn’t feel judged. I now feel that my problems are fixable and I am excited about moving forward with treatment to get my smile fixed. Highly recommend.
