Dr. Frisbie, a native Wisconsinite, attended UW-Madison for his B.S. degree in Medical Microbiology & Immunology.  He then studied at New York University College of Dentistry, obtaining a DDS in 2007, as well as awards for clinical excellence, endodontic achievements, and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society.  Dr. Frisbie went on to receive his Endodontic Certificate at New York University, where he received awards at the national level for his research and contribution to the field.  He received additional training with DOCS (Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation) to be able to provide safe and effective sedation ('sleep dentistry') for patients' comfort.

 

Dr. Frisbie is a respected leader in endodontics, having conducted research and published multiple articles in the field's most prestigious research journal (Journal of Endodontics) and is contributing author of the 10th edition of Pathways of the Pulp, arguably the leading textbook in the specialty.  He remains active in continuing education and in his specialty's organizations.  Dr. Frisbie also remains part-time adjunct faculty at New York University College of Dentistry.  He is an active member in the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, Waukesha County Dental Society, American Dental Association, and American Association of Endodontists.

 

He has led the endodontic portion of third world dental outreach educational trips and has most recently led teams to serve the underprivilaged in Honduras, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, rural Maine, and Haiti.

 

In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman, loves to garden, travel, and most of all enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 kids and Savannah kitty.

Dr. Teel is a periodontist, dental implant surgeon, and founding owner of the practice. Her passion is to achieve clinical excellence while maintaining the utmost in patient comfort in a soothing environment. She attended New York University for her dental education, where she achieved honors in implantology and prosthodontics, as well as served as president of the NYU implant study club. Dr. Teel was selected to attend a highly competitive General Practice Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ where she received advanced training in dental trauma and special needs patient care. Dr. Teel practiced as a general dentist in New York where she split her time as a contracted U.S. Coast Guard dentist and in an esthetically driven private practice. Dr. Teel received her certificate and masters degree from a three year Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. Her research focused on success criteria and survival rates of dental implants. Among others, her presentations include for the Academy of Osseointegration Annual Session, the Astra World Congress in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Waukesha County Dental Society, and for the Oregon Society of Periodontists. She has also served as moderator for various forums, including for the American Academy of Periodontology's Annual Meeting's "Lasers and Periodontitis: Point/Counterpoint" session.

 

Domestically, she has volunteered her care in free health care clinics in New York, Chicago, and most recently serves locally in Wisconsin at the annual Mission of Mercy in Madison. Abroad, she travels to serve the people of rural Cap Haitien, Haiti. She currently serves as President and C.E. Coordinator of the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, and is an active member of Waukesha County Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration (implant dentistry) and is a faculty club member of Spear Education. She has also served as clinical instructor at Oregon Health and Sciences University and Marquette University, and frequently lectures for groups of general dentists.

 

Utilizing the most modern technology, Dr. Teel's surgical expertise focuses on comprehensive care with minimally invasive procedures. As her patients and colleagues attest, Dr. Teel prides herself in maintaining periodontal and surgical excellence, while alleviating her patient's apprehension and concerns. Dr. Teel's interests outside the scope of dentistry include traveling, hiking, skiing, running marathons and exploring the great outdoors with her husband, two daughters and youngest son.

Dr. Zielinski graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a Degree in Biology.  As an undergraduate, he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and awarded University Honors -  a distinction given to the top 3% of the graduating class. He received his D.D.S. in from the University of Illinois-Chicago. While studying at the College of Dentistry, he was the recipient of several awards including the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for excellence in dental anesthesiology, the Leslie J. Braun Jr. Award for excellence in dental diagnosis and treatment planning, and the Donald L. McElroy Award for professionalism in endodontics.  After receiving his D.D.S., he entered into endodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was awarded his Certificate in Endodontics. 

 

Dr. Zielinski has served as an associate professor of endodontics at the Marquette School of Dentistry and is in full-time private practice as a founding partner with Meridian Endodontics & Periodontics.  He is an active member and lecturer for both the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and the Waukesha County Dental Society.  He has been active in the Waukesha County Dental Society for many years and currently serves as its President.  Dr. Zielinski is also an active member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.  

 

Dr. Zielinski believes that education is a lifelong endeavor and, as such, is passionate about continued education.  He is a member and contributor to the TDO forum, which is an online community of endodontists from around the world that share clinical cases, concepts, and questions for the betterment of patient care. He is a member of the Spear Study Club, which is a group of local general dentists and specialists that study and review complex, multidisciplinary dental cases as a form of active learning. He has also received additional training with DOCS (Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation) to be able to provide safe and effective sedation ('sleep dentistry') for patients' comfort.

 

When Dr. Zielinski is not treating patients or studying cases and literature (which is rare) he enjoys running, weight training, and cheering for his favorite sports teams (which may or may not be Chicago based).  Dr. Zielinski and his wife, Kristen, are the proud parents of 3 children, Hazel, Eloise, and Ben.

Dr. Stoianovici is a Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon. His passion is to provide clinical excellence through modern and innovative techniques, as well as provide compassionate care for his patients in an educational, enriching, and transparent environment.

 

Dr. Stoianovici began his educational career at the University of California in Irvine where he achieved his B.S. in Chemistry and Minor in Biology. He then attended Western University of Health Sciences where he obtained his DMD degree, as well as an induction into the highly prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honors Society. Dr. Stoianovici then received his Master’s Degree in Periodontology and Implantology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. During his time in residency, he focused his research on Homing Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Enhanced Periodontal Regeneration. Dr Stoianovici spends time on his research to improve and utilize the most current methods, materials and technology to enhance patient care.

 

Through his distinctive research, Dr. Stoianovici was given the opportunity to present at various Local and National meetings and research competitions, being awarded third place in the Billy Pennel Basic Science Competition from the Southern Academy of Periodontics, and as a finalist at the Osteology Foundation. Dr. Stoianovici will also be presenting his research in the highly prestigious Orban Competition at the American Academy of Periodontology.

 

Dr. Stoianovici actively serves as an associate professor of periodontics at the Marquette School of Dentistry and is in full-time private practice as a partner doctor with Meridian.   He is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology and Implantology.  He is an active member with the American Academy of Periodontology and American Dental Association as well as on the board for the local WDA chapter, the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association. He is also affiliated with the Special Olympics and Missions of Mercy projects as a volunteer, where he provides dental care for those locally in need. Dr. Stoianovici is passionate for utilizing modern and minimally invasive techniques to deliver distinguished care for his patients in a state of the art office.

Dr. Tom Jahnke, a native Wisconsinite, graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from UW - La Crosse. He went on to receive his D.D.S from the University of Indiana School of Dentistry, where he was welcomed to be a member of the National Dental Honor Society, OKU. He is a board-certified Endodontist whose focus is pain management and therapeutics. His patients will attest that he takes care of every patient as if they were family and he is most known for his calm and caring demeanor.

 

Dr. Jahnke served our country in the Army, where he practiced as a general dentist before advancing as a specialist in Endodontics by completing his endodontic residency at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He received his Master’s Degree during residency with research on the Adoption of Endodontic Technological Advancements and received the acclaimed "Dentsply Sirona Award" for his peer-reviewed research presentation at the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting. One of his military notes of recognition is the "Army Commendation Medal", obtained for meritorious achievement and clinical service.

 

Dr. Jahnke took his endodontic training to Fort Drum in New York and served as the Chief of Endodontics there which, along with seeing a wide variety of root canal needs, and performing the most challenging endodontic procedures, involved overseeing and mentoring restorative dentists on the art of endodontic therapy. He was additionally the resource for dental resorption and brings his knowledge of the periodontal/endodontic resorptive connection to our practice. Dr. Jahnke further added to his endodontic and patient care talents while in private endodontic practice in upstate New York. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Board of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, and Waukesha County Dental Society.

 

Dr. Jahnke has come back home to Wisconsin and we are so glad to have his experience, expertise in state-of-the-art endodontic techniques, and soothing bedside manner on our team. He brings his love for relieving pain and infection for his patients and commitment to save natural teeth whenever possible. Dr. Jahnke is dedicated as a partner doctor at Meridian to improving the oral health of his patients by collaborating well with other specialists and family dentists to facilitate an outcome that is best for the patient.

Dr. Juliana Sardenberg is a board certified Periodontist & Implant Surgeon.  She began her educational journey by obtaining an Associate in Applied Science degree focusing on business administration from Valencia College. She specialized in small business management and earned two additional business certificates while managing a store in Disney World. During that time, she discovered that her passion lays in helping others and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in food science and human nutrition from the University of Florida.  From there, she began her dental journey at NOVA Southeastern University where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

 

Dr. Sardenberg continued to devote her time to her education and completed General Practice Residency (GPR) at the VA hospital in Gainesville, as well as Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the VA hospital in Milwaukee where she received advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry. She returned to Florida where she most recently earned Master of Science degree and a certificate in Periodontics from the University of Florida. During her time as a resident, Dr. Sardenberg served as chief resident and helped implement digital dentistry into the clinic in a push to improve treatment planning and patient care. She also dedicated her research to studying the intricate relationship between type 2 diabetes and periodontitis. Dr. Sardenberg is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care to the greater Milwaukee area and always ensures patient comfort and satisfaction. She is committed to excellence in her field and continues to grow though advanced continuing education to ensure her patients' care is at this highest standard possible. She is also pleased to serve as a mentor to dental students, and is an accomplished lecturer and instructor in the field of periodontics. She is an active member of her community and dental associations, including the Wisconsin Dental Association, Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and Waukesha County Dental Society.

 

Originally from Brazil, and fluent in Portuguese, we are so excited that she brought some international flare to our office!  In her spare time, Dr. Sardenberg enjoys the great outdoors, horseback riding, fishing, exercising, watching movies, and spending time with her fiancé and loved ones.

Locally, Kelsey developed confidence in patient care through externships at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinic, and the Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic.
