Dr. Max Cory – Periodontist & Dental Implant Surgeon

Dr. Maxwell Cory is a periodontist and implant surgeon whose passion for dentistry grew from a
love of hands-on care and a genuine commitment to helping others. That combination
continues to shape the way he cares for every patient, with precision, compassion, and a focus
on creating a comfortable experience.

A proud Minnesota native, Dr. Cory earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology, cum laude, from the
University of St. Thomas before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from the
University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He then completed an Advanced Education in General
Dentistry residency at the Birmingham V.A. Medical Center in Alabama, where he gained extensive
experience treating complex surgical and restorative cases. Dr. Cory then returned to Minnesota to
complete his specialty training in Periodontology and Implant Surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Throughout his training, Dr. Cory was recognized not only for his clinical excellence but also for his
dedication to leadership and service. He mentored dental students, served as a Minnesota Dental
Association student ambassador, and volunteered his time providing dental care through Special
Olympics Special Smiles, Give Kids A Smile, community clinics throughout the Twin Cities, and
international outreach programs in Nicaragua.

Dr. Cory practices a full range of periodontal and implant surgical services, including dental implant
placement, periodontal surgery, gum grafting, bone grafting, and tooth extractions. He believes
exceptional outcomes begin with trust, education, and patient comfort, achieved through evidence-
based, minimally invasive techniques that maximize long-term success.

Away from dentistry, Dr. Cory is happiest with fresh air, good company, and something active on the
agenda. Whether he’s on the golf course, carving fresh tracks on the ski slopes, spending a day on the
lake, or cheering on his favorite hockey and football teams, he never passes up a chance to be outdoors
with family and friends. After growing up in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, he’s excited to call the shores of
Lake Michigan home and looks forward to embracing everything Wisconsin has to offer.
